From the streets of Harlem to the big screen of Hollywood, tap dancing has always been associated with the American Songbook.
Back at the Baryton Café, the vibrant singer and dancer Wendy Lee Taylor accompanied by the Silver Coast Trio will take you on a journey between sequins and jazz.
Catching melodies, tap dancing, jubilant improvisation will be on the list for this jubilant concert with blends the renowned standards of Cole Porter Gershwin et Irving Berlin, with the magical dance inspired Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers to Gregory Hines.
After 15 years of performing at the Parisian Cabaret “Le Lido”, Wendy has also incorporated a selection of French Chanson (Nougaro, Gainsbourg, Trenet, etc…) which she interprets with her delectable Australian accent.
