In 1950’s, the Hammond Organ became, and remains an extremely influential instrument in contemporary music, and over the years has contributed enormously to the swing repertoire. Its inimitable sound blends perfectly with guitar and drums to create a groove that is a cross between jazz and blues.
The Organic Quartet reminds us of the Jimmy Smith and Jack Mac Duff trios, and sets up the ideal atmosphere for Wendy Lee Taylor’s sultry vocals.
