In the heart of Paris, in the scenic setting of the Seine, near the Ile Saint Louis, the Péniche Marcounet is a convivial venue to listen to some classy jazz. Guests can dine or just have a drink. For well placed tables, reservations are advised.
Accompanied by Philippe Petit (piano), Pierre Maingourd (double bass) and Eric Dervieu (drums), Jazz singer and tap dancer Wendy Lee Taylor will perform numbers from her new album, “Remembering Fred Astaire” which, as the title indicates, is consecrated to the marvellous performer who inaugurated so many of the songs by illustrious composers such as George & Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter.
